The letters “INRI” are initials for the Latin title that Pontius Pilate had written over the head of Jesus on the cross (John 19:19). Latin was the official language of the Roman Empire.
The words were “Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm.” Latin uses “I” instead of the English “J”, and “V” instead of “U” (i.e., Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum). The English translation is ” Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.”

WHAT IS GRIEFSHARE?
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. Griefshare is a 13 week program starting this fall. We will meet on Wednesdays beginning Oct.15, 2014. Each evening begins with a 30 minute video followed by group discussion.
