Friendship Ministries is an interdenominational, intergenerational, international ministry with people who have intellectual disabilities. There are over 1,000 Friendship groups in 60 denominations and 25 countries worldwide.
The purpose of the Friendship program is to nurture the spiritual growth of people with intellectual disabilities in the context of personal and meaningful relationship. But the Friendship program doesn’t stop there – it spills over into Sunday morning and beyond. Having learned more about worship, friends find Sunday mornings more meaningful. And when friends share their gifts as active members of the church, the entire community is enriched.
Friends meet Tuesday evenings from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Bethel CRC for singing, praying bible stories and fellowship.
